Great post, Dash. This is what will take them down. I always say, vote them out. Shout louder. Protest longer and turn off your televisions!

It's easier and safer for Media to blame Democrats. They can get away with it, unlike when they blame the real cause for all our current and future suffering, the Repugnants.

We need a new amazing Democratic leader, like Obama was when he came on the scene. Where is he or she? And I hate to say it, but it should probably be a He because this country is afraid to elect a woman.

The idiot box has created a generation of Republican voters so disconnected from reality they keep voting on the people who pick their pockets. I don't know what efficacy there is in us avoiding the news, the base will be wallowing in Faux news, Newsmax, and any other sources that play to their fears. An odd combination of Orwell's vision of controlled information and Huxley's of a self-distracting population.

"Uninspiring and ineffective" hardly draws the voters. That's why the democrats are being blamed.

Dems are in the minority, they aren't proactive enough when they know Trump is unbalanced, they aren't able to swing more aware Republicans to vote with them. Basically the dems aren't strong, don't make a strong effort to stop this debacle. This big bill going on now is going to hurt Dems AND Republicans and Medicaid is toast- nothing appears to bring Trump down. I don't recognize my country anymore.

I am sick of the blame game too Dash. Dem leadership needs a total makeover, granted, but name a Dem sponsored bill that had one single abomination in it let alone the entire garbage pile we’re now seeing them trying to get passed. We have fabulous women who could take over but Lord, we can’t have women making decisions, voters said that. From my view, 5000 miles from DC, it’s not any better than yours in SF, but the distance helps my sanity.
