After crowning himself Emperor in the wake of the French Revolution, and boasting the largest army in European history — Napoleon Bonaparte was considered invincible; arguably the most powerful man of the 19th century.
However, his reign of terror would come to an abrupt end in June of 1815. At the battle of Waterloo, Napoleon’s French army suffered a crushing defeat, and Prussian forces would banish Bonaparte to a remote island in the South Atlantic. In exile, Napoleon would serve the remainder of his existence on the bleak island of St. Helena — writing memoirs in isolation till his death in 1821.
In the bleak hotel rooms of Mar-a-Lago, an isolated Donald J. Trump — once the leader of the free world — writes memoirs on his middling IOS application, Truth Social, as Conservatives repudiate him for costing Republicans the Senate — once again.
Fox News — the network that catapulted Donald Trump to the presidency under the leadership of sexual predator, Roger Ailes — has shifted their sights in a new direction. Recently, Fox put out an article calling Ron DeSantis the “new leader” of the Republican Party.
Last night, Conservative NewsNation host, Bill O’Reilly, said Trump is “detached from reality.”
Even Trump’s own offspring chose not to attend his 2024 Presidential announcement. Instead, the twice-impeached Insurrectionist was joined by an unimpressive crowd of subdued patrons and strangers — while most of the major broadcast networks opted not to air the speech.
Donald Trump, who once told a crowd they’d be “tired of winning” is nothing short of one term, political loser. Since Trump stepped foot in Washington after losing the popular vote to Hillary Clinton — Republicans have gone on to lose the Oval Office, lose the House twice, and lose the Senate twice.
Meanwhile, the man who Trump accused of having dementia — defeated Trump by over 7 million votes, and successfully defended his Senate majority in a year where Democrats were statistically predicted to get pummeled.
Warnock’s win was Trump’s Waterloo — a final gut-punch to the former reality star who has been shown, once more, that his name does not carry the political weight that it once did. Mathematically, Trump’s endorsement is the kiss of death.
Like most flailing tyrants — the people left in Trump’s orbit will cling to him for clout, will enable him out of fear, or will conspire to take his throne.
