Trump Teases Third Term, Musk Makes His Most Corrupt Move Yet
As Donald flirts with running for an unconstitutional third term in 2028, Elon enters full-blown oligarch mode
Less than three months into Trump’s presidency, and the Constitution is already being torn to shreds.
Over the weekend
Donald Trump claimed he was “not joking” about seeking a third term in 2028 and said he has “methods” to achieve this.
Here’s how he responded when NBC's Kristin Welker asked him if he wants to run for president again: “I like working… I'm not joking… but it's far too early to think about it… A lot of people want me to do it.”
A simple ‘no’ would have been the appropriate answer.
Then…
When Trump was asked if he had been presented with any plans as to how he would run for another term, here's how he responded: “There are methods which you could do it.”
But then, when he was asked to clarify what those methods are, he refused to answer — likely because those methods are unconstitutional, as the 22nd Amendment prohibits Trump — or any president — from having a third term.
Later that day…
Trump was asked by another news outlet: “You said you were not joking about a third term. Does that mean you’re not planning to leave office?”
Here’s how Trump responded: “I have had more people ask me to have a 3rd term, which in a way is a 4th term because the 2020 election was totally rigged.”
So…there you have it
The President of the United States went on live TV — twice — and did not rule out the possibility of seeking a third term…which he actually views as a fourth term!
We were right when we said Trump was a fascist and a dictator who wouldn’t relinquish his power should he ever reclaim the Oval Office.
Speaking of corruption
If you thought Trump teasing an unconstitutional third term was bad, Elon Musk may have just out-corrupted him:
