Donald Trump just caused the Conservative Party in Canada to lose their election to the Liberal Party.
Last night
Mark Carney's Liberal Party defeated Pierre Poilievre’s Conservative Party in Canada’s election.
Why I say Trump caused them to lose is because Conservatives were dominating Liberals in every Canada poll before Trump became president.
But after Trump was sworn in and escalated his trade war — which destabilized Canada's economy and destroyed ours as well — Canadians started associating Trumpism and MAGA with Pierre Poilievre.

It got so bad that Poilievre tried desperately to distance himself from Trump — pleading with Canadian voters that he was nothing like Trump and that he stood against Trump.
But it was too late
Trump single-handedly tanked Poilievre's chances, who was on track to win before Trump’s inauguration — and Canada is better off for it.
