Trump gave one of the most insane and desperate speeches any President has ever made during last night’s GOP Midterm convention.
First
Before arriving in Dallas, Trump told reporters that the war with Iran (I guess it’s now a war, not a military conflict), will end after the midterms.
He is basically campaigning (on GOP’s behalf) on ending a war that he started (after he promised to be a president who’d end all wars).
Then, at the convention
Trump said that if Republicans win the midterms, he will cut each American a $5,000 check.
Last time I checked, offering money in exchange for political support is textbook bribery.
Not only is this illegal, but it is also exactly what he promised when campaigning in 2024.
Recall, Trump and Musk vowed to give each American a $5,000 Doge check if Trump won.
Well, he won…and nobody got a check.
He is quite literally running out of scams
