Trump retaliates against Colombia’s president for refusing migrant flights
In response to Colombia rejecting US deportation flights, Trump announced he would be inflicting ‘retaliatory actions’ against Colombia by placing 25% tariffs on all Colombian imported goods, enacting a Colombian travel ban, stripping visas from Colombians in America, and ordering ICE to specifically target Colombian nationals for detainment in a disturbing Truth Social post — which he followed up with official White House declarations.

But Colombia clapped back
In response to Trump’s laundry list of punishments against his country, Colombia’s president announced that he would be placing 50% tariffs on US imports, taking a final stand against the deranged leader of the free world.
However, shortly after, Colombia backed down
Trump’s White House spokesperson announced that Colombia had agreed to “all of Trump’s terms” — a message Colombia’s president would go on to repost — signaling that Trump had, in fact, beaten him down.
In my view
Trump bullied a smaller, weaker, less powerful Latin American country into submission, and by doing so, terminated any goodwill the US had with Colombia (along with every other Latin American country who observed Trump’s gross display of power).
