Trump Breaks Every Campaign Promise In 147 Days

More wars, more spending, more lies

It is truly remarkable to watch the cognitive dissonance of Trump supporters play out in real time — as they cheer on the very policies they once claimed to oppose.

For starters

Trump appears to be dragging us into a new war with Iran — despite promising to “end all the wars” and bring “peace to the Middle East.”

By the way

The people who supported Trump on the premise he’d “end the wars” were outraged at Biden for ending the 20-year war in Afghanistan.

Talk about cognitive dissonance!

Also

Trump is sending ICE agents to deport workers that small businesses rely on — after imposing tariffs that further crushed those same businesses.

But remember: MAGA voters backed him because he was the only candidate who supposedly “looked out” for small businesses.

Plus

Trump supporters attacked Biden for “spending too much.”

Yet Trump’s bill will increase the deficit by trillions of dollars — and hand out massive tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans, while his working-class base gets left in the dust and stripped of their healthcare.

Here’s the deal

There are now more wars under Trump than there were under Biden. Trump is on track to spend more than Biden. He will cripple small businesses with his trade war (+ deportations). And he will gut benefits for low-income Americans — the very programs Biden fought to protect.

In other words

Everything Trump promised on the campaign trail was a flat-out lie — and his supporters were, once again, tricked like the gullible fools they are.

The only true thing Trump said was that he’d be a dictator on “day one” of his presidency. Although, I guess he lied about that too — because it’s now day 147, and he’s still a dictator.

The crazy part is

All of this was predictable. In fact, all of us here predicted it!

So did Kamala Harris — several times — but because she’s Black and because she’s a woman, America didn’t want to hear it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump is sending us into a war just to distract from his poorly attended birthday parade.

Never put anything past that petty tyrant.

He’s going crazy. Which means the resistance is working.
