Trump Admin Leaks Classified Intel After Saying It Was 'A Crime' To Do So
Yes, even their own cabinet admits what they did was illegal
The Trump administration's own words are now being used against them, as an old post just resurfaced of the administration claiming that anyone who leaks classified information is in “violation of the law.”
Yet that is exactly what the Trump administration was just exposed for doing — specifically, Pete Hegseth leaking classified information about sensitive military strikes in Yemen.
Here’s what Tulsi Gabbard, Trump's National Intelligence Director, tweeted just last week:
“Any unauthorized release of classified information is a violation of the law and will be treated as such.”
Oh really, is that so, Tulsi?
Because…
Yesterday, it was revealed that the Trump administration accidentally texted top secret war plans and classified information to a journalist at The Atlantic — a journalist who did not have a security clearance and was unauthorized to receive such materials.
So, according to Gabbard’s logic as of 11 days ago, her own administration is in violation of the law and should be treated as such.
And I agree with her
Imagine if that intel got into the hands of a malign actor or a foreign adversary — it could have jeopardized all of our safety. Who knows what other Signal chats they have going, and who else was “accidentally” added to those chats?
Prosecute them all.
Will any consequences actually follow?
Definitely not. After all, this is an administration being run by a convicted felon — who now has total control of the DOJ, the courts, and Congress.
And unless Democrats act now:
