Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate — an incredible choice and a strategic pick to ensure victory against Donald Trump this November.

Walz is the real deal

He passed bills to get free lunches and breakfasts for students in Minnesota, he expanded LGTBQ protections, and he’s raised teacher salaries along with providing paid family and medical leave for all families.

Walz is literally known as the “education Governor” — which will play very well with Gen Z (and their parents) across the country.

Walz was Bernie Sanders top choice for Harris — so him being on the ticket will usher in a new batch of progressives and young people.

Plus

Now Josh Shapiro can campaign for Harris twice as hard in the state of Pennsylvania — arguably the most crucial swing state in the election.

Shapiro will be an effective surrogate (as will Buttigieg), and can fire up voters whilst remaining PA’s Governor — a best of both worlds for Dems and Harris.
