Marco Rubio was shown a video of Donald Trump falling asleep next to him during a cabinet meeting after Rubio told Congress he’d never seen Trump fall asleep before.
Here is a video of today’s masterful exchange by Ted Lieu, who took ‘Little Marco’ to the cleaners by using his own words against him (and bringing the visual receipts).
Now that’s how you fact-check someone.
For those too lazy to watch, Lieu basically calls out Rubio for lying to Congress, plays the video of Trump sleeping, then points out that Trump’s televised sundowning makes other countries perceive America as weaker because Trump himself is “weak and feeble.” Lieu also showed a second video of Trump falling asleep during another cabinet meeting shortly after this clip ended.
Terrific usage of speaking time, if you ask me.
At this point…
Nothing productive will come from Congressional hearings as long as Republicans are in the majority.
Every Dem should do what Lieu did from now on: use televised hearings to put the sycophancy of the Trump Administration on full display, and turn them into viral clips for cable news, social media, etc.
Speaking of Trump’s deterioration…
Every news channel in America should be covering the cognitive and physical decline of Donald Trump: the hand bruises, the ankle swelling, the puffy eyes, the lack of transparency with his medial records, the propaganda coming from his lackeys like Dr. Oz—and Trump himself on Truth Social.
The media gave Biden so much smoke for being old, and it cost Democrats dearly in the election. Remember how they would ask every single Democratic representative—and voter—some variation of: “Is Biden too old to be president? Does his age concern you? Is he of sound mind to be making high-level negotiations? Should voters be worried about Biden’s health issues x, y, z?”
We haven’t seen nearly as much coverage from traditional media when it comes to Trump’s age and health.
Probably because most traditional media outlets are owned by MAGAs.

Calling them out to their face is always welcomed, but it doesn't affect change. They are still running the country into the ground. Nothing changes until they're removed from office and are no longer the majority.
