Jake Tapper's Ratings Plunge To All-Time Low

He lost his credibility and his audience in one month

It’s an incredible way to end the week. Not so much if you’re Jake Tapper.

Ratings for Jake Tapper’s show on CNN plunged to an all-time low, marking his worst numbers in over a decade.

According to the latest report, Tapper’s show averaged 525,000 viewers in May — down 25% from this point last year.

For reference, this is his lowest-rated month since August of 2015.

Even worse news for Tapper

His show is losing the “advertiser-coveted demographic” of viewers aged 25–54, averaging a meager 95,000 viewers — a 15% drop.

If these dismal numbers continue, CNN will have no choice but to give Tapper the axe.

In my view

CNN and Jake Tapper have lent their platform and credibility to promote a poorly-sourced book that bashes the former president for his age and mental acuity — while the current president commits crimes, accepts bribes, destroys alliances, manipulates the market, violates court orders, and works to rip healthcare away from millions of Americans.

This ratings nosedive is exactly what they deserve.

The takeaway

Let’s hope his book tanks as hard as his ratings. Considering Democrats won’t be reading it, and MAGAs don’t read — I haven’t a clue who his target audience is.
