Harris Sees Boost, Trump Faces Alarming Electoral Problem
Kamala Harris makes surprising new allies and rises in the polls, as Donald's campaign gets hit with yet another setback
Kamala Harris continues to reap the benefits of her masterful debate performance.
The data
The latest Morning Consult Survey is out, and Harris now leads Trump 51% to 45% — a 6-point margin.
This is a jump-up from their first post-debate poll, which had Harris at 50% to Trump’s 45%.
Which means
Harris' momentum hasn't faded. In fact, her lead has only grown as more time has passed since the debate.
Plus
17 GOP Former Reagan staffers endorsed VP Harris in a powerful new letter — writing that if Ronald Reagan were still alive, he’d “join” them in “supporting the Harris-Walz ticket.”
In short: the era of ‘Reagan Republicans’ has come to an end.
And they didn’t hold back
The group contrasts Harris’ positive vision for America against Trump’s authoritarian agenda, asking Americans to make a choice: “The time for choosing we face today is a choice between integrity and demagoguery, and the choice must be Harris-Walz. The choice between truth and lies demands support for Harris-Walz. The choice between freedom and suppression of freedoms means support for Harris-Walz.”
They laid it out perfectly. A simple, straight-forward choice to make this November.
In my view
The number of prominent Republicans crossing party lines to support Harris is unprecedented.
Bush staffers, GOP generals, Republican Congress members like Kinzinger and Cheney, the McCains, Dick Cheney, former Trump officials, and now 17 Reagan staffers.
Republicans/Independents can be better-persuaded by them
With big-name Conservative voices on the campaign trail for Harris — who can communicate with GOP voters more effectively than Democrats — Kamala's chances have never looked stronger.
The same can’t be said for Donald Trump, who faces yet another major setback
Not only is Trump tanking in the polls and getting called out by several Reagan officials, but he’s staring down a new problem that could sink his already flailing campaign:
