Harris Makes Gains, Trump Loses Control
Kamala's lead grows in several new polls, as Donald's candidacy crumbles
It’s been less than a month since Kamala Harris entered the race, and already, she’s transformed her campaign into an historic movement.
The data
According to the latest New York Times/Sienna poll, Harris has taken a commanding 4-point lead over Donald Trump in Wisconsin (50-46), Pennsylvania (50-46), and Michigan (50-46).
This is a huge turnaround from November, in which the same poll had Biden losing to Trump by 2 points (WI), 4 points (PA), and 5 points (MI).
Side note: I think Biden would have beaten Trump in the end, but still, this new polling is extremely promising.
So is the fact that voters trust Kamala with the economy more than they trust Trump
Lose the economy, lose the election.
For the first time since this Financial Times poll began, a Democratic ticket now has the trust of more Americans than the GOP ticket — and it all shifted when Harris threw her hat in the ring.
The poll has Harris winning at 42%, while Trump sits below her at 41%.
Yes, it’s a small margin, but…
The fact that she’s leading is the story in itself.
Finally
Voters are starting to see the economic achievements of the Biden/Harris admin with Harris as the face on the ticket.
P.S. Give Harris a few more weeks of campaigning on her extraordinary record, and that margin will increase.
Plus
This data also means means voters are beginning to see how detrimental Donald was for jobs, stocks, wages (and how detrimental he’ll be for social security, tax hikes, and inflation if he’s given a second term).
But with the way things are going, Donald won’t be given a second term
