Harris Flips Republicans, Trump Hit With Battleground State Blow
Kamala Harris expands her base and sways GOP voters, while Donald's candidacy faces a rude awakening in a vital swing state
The Harris/Walz Campaign is on point, and their message of joy, optimism, and unity is winning over voters from both sides.
Republican Chairs from Maine endorse Harris
Three former chairs of Maine’s GOP are now “enthusiastically” endorsing Harris over Trump — the latest batch of Republicans to cross party lines.
In the group’s endorsement letter, they praise Madam VP for being a “collaborative and capable leader” who’s committed to “bringing people together” and who’ll be a “President for all Americans.”
It’s clear: Democrats are the big tent party.
The group also ripped Trump for numerous reasons, including Project 2025
The Republicans criticize his “divisive rhetoric”, his “election lies”, his “failed tax and trade policies”, and for “refusing” to stand up for Ukraine during the debate.
They also expressed “fear” Trump will “follow the Project 2025 blueprint” — warning voters he’ll “gut” healthcare protections and social security programs.
In short: they reject Trump for his stance on Democracy, foreign policy, the economy, healthcare, and his overall personal character.
Perhaps the most revealing tidbit of all
The group expressed how they feel excluded and alienated by the Trump-led GOP, in which they write: “Trump’s MAGA Republican Party is unrecognizable to us.”
A powerful sentiment that likely shows how a lot of everyday GOP voters feel about the modern day Republican Party: abandoned.
Plus: They weren’t the only Republicans who took a stand against Trump
The GOP’s efforts to rig Nebraska’s election are officially dead in the water, thanks to a Republican State Senator.
Quick context
For the past few weeks, Republicans have pushed to change Nebraska's electoral college system to a winner-takes-all approach. Right now, Nebraska (along with Maine) allows candidates to win electoral votes based on individual districts, with 2 EC votes awarded to the state's popular vote winner.
If this change happened, Trump would likely receive all 5 of Nebraska's electoral votes, instead of losing 1 or 2 to Harris.
But a GOP State Senator put country over party and blocked their MAGA proposal
Thanks to a Republican State Senator who opposed the rule change, the GOP’s plan was foiled on sight.
Now
Nebraska will remain a state where Harris can snag 1 or 2 more electoral votes, which could make all the difference in a close race.
A bad sign for Donald Trump, whose campaign just got hit with something even worse
Not only was Trump’s plan to steal Nebraska thwarted and his campaign dragged by Robinson in North Carolina, but he also just suffered a gut-punch in one of the most pivotal battleground states:
