Harris Flips GOP Voters, Trump Makes Big Mistake In Pennsylvania
Kamala Harris converts lifelong Republicans and delivers a strong closing message, while Donald's latest battleground performance could be a deal-breaker for swing voters
With 3 weeks left in the race, Kamala Harris is hitting all the right moves.
She’s flipping Republicans who’ve had enough of Trump’s circus, and is showing swing voters why a second Trump term would be a national disaster.
First, former Wisconsin GOP State Senator endorses Harris
Dale Schultz, the Republican former Senate Majority Leader of Wisconsin, has come out in support of Harris and called out the Republican Party for abandoning conservative values: “I tell people, look, I didn't leave the party. The party left me. This is a critically important race and former President Donald Trump should never be allowed in the Oval Office again.”
Another Republican who feels alienated by MAGA — a party that no longer respects our Constitution, our democracy, or our electoral process.
Keep in mind
This is a crucial ‘blue wall’ battleground state, so seeing a high-ranking Republican cross party lines with three weeks left in the race is a great sign for Harris.
Harris drives it home in Pennsylvania
To a full-capacity crowd in Erie, Pennsylvania, Harris held a rally where she highlighted how dangerous another Trump presidency would be.
And she used Trump’s own words against him
In a powerful moment, Harris stood back and played a video compliation of Trump’s most dictator-esque statements from this year, in which he said the following about Democrats: “The worst people are the enemies from within… Those people are more dangerous than Russia and China… These people should be put in jail for the way they talk about our judges and our justices… We have some sick people, radical left lunatics… It should be very easily handled by the National Guard or, if really necessary, by the military.”
A strong reminder to independent voters of how extremely anti-American Trump is (one of the core reasons why so many Republicans have bailed on his candidacy to support Harris).
Then
After the video ended, Harris spoke directly to the crowd and told them: “You heard his words coming from him. He's talking about the enemy within Pennsylvania. He's talking about the enemy within our country, Pennsylvania. He's talking about that he considers anyone who doesn't support him, or who will not bend to his will, an enemy of our country…This is among the reasons I believe so strongly that a second Trump term would be a huge risk for America and dangerous.”
An effective closing message in a county that is known to be the ultimate predictor of elections (it’s correctly chosen 92% of statewide elections since 2008, including the past 4 presidential elections).
And Harris delivered one of her best rallies yet.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump had a nightmare performance in PA
If you thought having your opponent air a montage of your authoritarian threats to a packed crowd of swing voters was bad, Trump’s latest appearance in Pennsylvania may have sunk his chances entirely:
