Kamala Harris is closing out the race with undeniable momentum.

She’s got young voters fired up and is peeling away GOP support in the final stretch — and the latest numbers prove it.

October poll released

According to the latest NYT/Siena poll, Harris leads Trump 49-46, a 3-point margin.

She’s been consistently leading Trump in the majority of polls since she became the top of ticket, so this is a good sign.

Plus: She’s surging with young voters

Harris is beating Trump 58-34 among young voters who view her as the candidate for “change” — a whopping 24-point margin.

A testament to her focus on restoring abortion rights, combating climate change, relieving student debt, and lowering costs.

Best of all

She’s increased her support among Republican voters to 9%, up from 5% in September (arguably most crucial statistic from the poll).

With voices like Liz Cheney, Geoff Duncan, Adam Kinzinger, and surrogates like Mark Cuban making the rounds on Fox News — expect Harris to keep converting disillusioned GOP voters.

And today

Harris will appear on the Howard Stern show — another mega podcast — to spread her commitment to women’s freedoms, job creation, and preserving Democracy.

Stern also likes to dive into people’s personal lives, so Harris will be given another great opportunity to share her relatable middle-class roots.

In my view

It’s smart that Harris is doing tons of new media appearances and podcasts, connecting with audiences who exist outside of the CNN/MSNBC bubble.

Meanwhile

Trump got called out by the 60 Minutes anchor for bailing on last night’s interview.

Here’s what Scott Pelley said at the beginning of the show: “The [Trump] campaign offered shifting explanations. First, it complained that we would fact-check the interview. We fact-check every story.”

Correct. The real reason Trump backed out was because he was afraid of being fact-checked.

Then

Pelley told the audience that Trump pulled out of his debate with Harris, saying: “Trump has said his opponent doesn't do interviews because she can't handle them. He had previously declined another debate with Harris.”

Solid reporting.

A brutal 24 hours for Donald Trump, who’s now facing yet another major setback

Not only is Trump sliding in the polls and getting grilled for skipping interviews, but the latest electoral data just dropped — and it could be the biggest red-flag yet for his campaign:
