Harris Capitalizes, Trump's Candidacy Spirals Toward Defeat
Kamala Harris closes out the race with key endorsements and a strategic swing state media blitz, as Donald falters in the final stretch
While Trump’s campaign flounders, Kamala Harris is going all-in to secure the victory with just 7 days to go.
And from the looks of it, her final-push strategy is paying off.
Today, Harris will participate in several battleground interviews
To close out the race, Harris has four battleground state TV interviews scheduled with local networks in Detroit, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
Talk about energy.
Plus
Harris will make a strong play at Latino voters and Puerto Ricans during a fifth interview today to air on Spanish Rumba radio in Philly.
A golden opportunity to turn out the largest Latino vote in U.S. history, especially in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
Then
Harris heads to DC to hold a rally at the Ellipse — the same place where Trump incited his mob to storm the Capitol on January 6th.
A brilliant move to remind the American people of how Trump’s chaotic presidency ended: with a deadly insurrection.
And
To an expected audience of 40,000, Harris will draw the clearest contrast yet between her candidacy of freedom and Democracy, and Trump’s candidacy of violence and Fascism.
A symbolic speech that is sure to generate a lot of press (and bring January 6th back into the narrative, a day that caused several Republican voters to turn against Trump).
Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania
Obama delivered a monumental speech last night to a packed house in Philly, and slammed Trump for his hate-filled Madison Square Garden rally:
“Trump holds this rally and the warm up speakers were peddling the most racist, sexist, bigoted stereotypes. One guy called Puerto Rico an “island of garbage.” These are fellow citizens he’s talking about! Here in Philadelphia, they are your neighbors, they are your friends, they are your coworkers.. their kids go to school with your kids. These are Americans!”
Then, Obama urged Muslim Americans to vote against Trump, speaking to them, directly: “If you’re a Muslim American and you’re upset about what’s happening in the Middle East, why would you put your faith in somebody who passed a Muslim ban and repeatedly suggested that you aren’t part of our American community?”
Crucial timing from Obama
He’s strategically calling out Trump’s bigotry to energize undecided voters to head to the polls for Harris — an action they can now take with early voting underway.
And in Michigan
Arab American leaders endorsed Kamala Harris, calling on Dearborn — the only U.S. city with a majority Arab population — to vote for Madam VP.
A pivotal endorsement for Harris to receive in the battleground state with the highest Arab and Muslim population.
A disastrous 24 hours for Donald Trump, whose campaign now seems headed toward defeat
Not only is Trump being outworked in battleground states by Harris, losing key voters in Michigan, and getting put on blast by Obama in Pennsylvania, but the latest electoral shifts show the race could be slipping out of his reach:
