Germany Claps Back At Marco Rubio For Defending Far-Right Extremism
Little Marco gets put in his place by Germany's Foreign Office
Germany just clapped back at Marco Rubio, who attacked them and accused them of “tyranny” for trying to stop the dangerous AfD party from seeking power in their government.
Yesterday
Germany classified the far-right Musk-backed AfD party as an “extremist threat” to their democracy, which now allows German authorities to increase surveillance of AfD to protect their national security.
However
In response to this rational move from Germany, Rubio went on to attack them and defend the AfD party, saying: “Germany just gave its spy agency new powers to surveil the opposition. That's not democracy, it's tyranny in disguise.”
A deplorable thing for our Secretary of State to say about one of our closest allies.
But Germany clapped back
Here’s what Germany’s Foreign Office said in direct response to Rubio’s post on X: “This is democracy. This decision is the result of a thorough & independent investigation to protect our Constitution & the rule of law. It is independent courts that will have the final say. We have learnt from our history that rightwing extremism needs to be stopped.”
Incredible. And if I’m reading this right, Germany is drawing a subtle line between the rise of MAGA and the Nazi Party — which would be pretty accurate.
They also take a not-so-subtle jab at Trump who ignores the constitution, undermines the rule of law, and defies independent court rulings — the exact anti-democratic behavior Germany is calling out.
So kudos to Germany for this immaculate response — and most importantly — for stuffing little Rubio into a little locker.

Rubio isn’t even trying to hide his support of far right parties. Shout it out!
Thank you, Dash, for sharing this great news. The German government is to be highly commended for not letting this post slide.
