Gavin Newsom Sues Fox News For $787 Million Over Lying About Trump Phone Call
Propaganda comes with a price
Gavin Newsom just sued Fox News for defamation and is seeking $787 million in damages — which is the exact amount Fox had to pay Dominion Voting Systems for the lies they spread about their voting machines.
This morning
Newsom filed a 9-figure defamation lawsuit against Fox for lying about his phone call with Donald Trump during the ICE raids.
If you guys recall, Trump falsely claimed he called Newsom the night prior, which Newsom debunked and said never happened.
So naturally, Fox went ahead and took Trump’s side, and proceeded to “misleadingly edit a video of Trump” to support Trump’s false claim over Newsom’s truthful one.
In other words
It seems Newsom has Fox dead to rights.
And after filing the lawsuit, Newsom told Politico he’s gonna take this lawsuit all the way: “If Fox News wants to lie to the American people on Donald Trump’s behalf, it should face consequences — just like it did in the Dominion case…Until Fox is willing to be truthful, I will keep fighting against their propaganda machine.”
I’ve always wondered why more politicians haven’t sued Fox News — a network that spreads blatant disinformation on a nightly basis.
In my view
The only way to stop these people is by hitting them where it hurts them most: their wallets.
Kudos to Newsom for taking a stand and taking real action.
Most importantly
Happy Friday, guys. Hope you have an awesome, bigly weekend & as always…#BeBest
Fox “News” is intentionally misleading. Not only do they fabricate information, they also intentionally omit pertinent information.
Fox is NOT a “news” station.
Fox IS a propagation machine.
And on top of that why can't you sue drumpf for calling you Newscum!
