Dodgers Deny ICE Agents Entry Into Stadium Before Game
LA Dodgers block ICE agents from entering their stadium and parking lot
The LA Dodgers just denied Trump’s ICE agents entry into their stadium ahead of tonight’s baseball game.
This is according to the Dodgers' official account, which just released the following: “This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled.”
Not only is that a wild statement for an MLB team to put out before first pitch, but it also reveals that Trump has deployed his agents to camp out in parking lots — like vultures — to snatch people into unmarked vans before they can even make it to the stadium.
In my view
Detaining fans on their way to enjoy America’s favorite pastime is as un-American as it gets.
Crazy times
Kudos to the Dodgers for denying them entry. Happy Juneteenth, guys.
Yes, and the LAPD escorted ICE agents away from the stadium. Very satisfying!
OMG. I just became a Dodgers fan.
