Biden's Fight For America Continues, Trump's Nominee Crumbles Under Scrutiny
As Joe Biden stands up for everyday Americans during his final weeks in power, Donald's most dangerous Cabinet pick faces what might be the ultimate roadblock
Joe Biden, the president who rarely gets the credit he deserves, is once again proving why his presidency will go down in history.
As the media showers Trump with sensationalized coverage and kisses the ring, Biden is continuing to fight for everyday Americans — even in his final month in office.
Joe Biden supports ban on Congressional stock trading
During one of his closing Presidential interviews with A More Perfect Union, Biden said he’d support a federal ban on stock trading for members of Congress: “I don't know how you look your constituents in the eye and know because the job they gave you, gives you an ‘inside track’ to make more money…I think we should be changing the law that we abide by at the federal level that nobody in Congress should be able to make money in the stock market while they're in the Congress.”
Biden also confirmed that he never traded a single stock during the 35+ years he served in the Senate.
An honorable public servant
Even on his way out the door, Biden is trying to level the playing field for all Americans and weed out corruption in Congress.
A true man of the people.
Speaking of new public servants
Donald Trump tapped Herschel Walker, the former football player and failed Senate candidate, to be America’s ambassador to the Bahamas — which would be Walker’s first-ever government position.
Let's just be clear
Serving as a US ambassador to another country is no easy feat.
If Walker gets confirmed by the Senate, he’ll be responsible for the following:
advocating for America's policies, priorities, and interests in the Bahamas
promoting collaboration on key issues, such as trade, climate change, regional security, and tourism
encouraging investment between the two countries
assisting American citizens who are traveling, living, or working in the Bahamas, including in cases of emergencies or legal issues
overseeing visa and immigration matters
I mean, the list goes on and on!
That is a lot of responsibility for Herschel Walker
A guy who, let’s just say, hasn’t demonstrated that he is competent enough to serve in the United States government.
Then again, neither is the adjudicated rapist who nominated him.
As he demonstrated late last night
At 3am, the President-elect fantasized — yet again — about making Canada the 51st state of America.
“Many Canadians want Canada to become the 51st State.”
I’m sure Canadians would be thrilled to join a country where they’d lose their free healthcare, be subjected to gun violence at schools, be stripped of their sovereignty, and be ruled by a convicted felon.
While Trump dreams of annexation, his high-level Cabinet pick is facing what may be the ultimate confirmation roadblock
Although Trump is busy threatening Canada and filling his Cabinet with unqualified loyalists, the latest scoop on Capitol Hill suggests it could be game over for his most dangerous nominee:
