I understand. The debate? Biden wasn’t the worst performance on the stage. Trump lies, refusal to answer questions was ignored by the press or worse some suggested Trump won??

But keeping Pres Biden under wraps seems counter productive.

If Biden is to be the Democratic candidate, he must show up.

Valid counterargument! It is interesting to analyze what the campaign gains by participating in these interviews, if the hosts are solely focused on needling him with questions only about his age/fitness while ignoring his accomplishments. Seems like a lose-lose scenario for Biden, unless the host commits to an unbiased platform.

I understand. I, too, have qualms about the best path forward. Would it have been different if Democrats had come together&uniformly denounced Trump’s behavior vs pile on Biden? Were we too quickly ready to move on?

I dunno, I really liked feisty Joe getting in the face of Lester on the NBC interview! His campaign stops have been back on full throttle, Biden Harris Campaign has a full presence in Milwaukee MAGA Convention for weeks now via billboards & digital signs on trucks plus Anti MAGA Trump Protests. But the Feckless Corpo Dems like Adam Schiff (I’m a Katie Porter voter in SoCal) plus the “I live in Italy” Clooney, two-face Stewart & Colbert & Trash Panda Media Pundits are STILL trying to beat this BS Biden Bashing drum…

The Belle Kurve YT channel with a no holds barred (NSFW warning lol) breakdown of the whole Joe Biden & Kamala Harris’ GREAT 1ST TERM/GREAT TEAM VERSUS this coordinated attack (even AFTER the MAGA on MAGA gun violence in PA) from MSM, NYTimes & corpo Dems showing their true colors - “VOTE BLUE BIDEN HARRIS 2024 HEAUX!!!”

I liked that too, but to me the best advantage Biden has are his rallies -- where he shines. And yes, it's frustrating to see how many are now all of sudden getting cold feet from one debate. It's weak.

No more interview. And no more apolgizing. Hit the campaign trail hard. Spread the real word!

Agreed, there's something stinky AF about the sudden flailing by some Dems and the media. It's coordinated indeed maybe due to mob style threats.

It seems like they're succumbing to fear. It's irrational and strategically unsound to unseat the candidate whom voters elected, and who beat Trump in 2020.

Agreed. Seems pretty panicky. I'm submitting my new Palmer Report piece on this too. Great piece today BTW, Dash 🥰

The media are petty, shallow and self important—and often biased. Unfortunately any politician that wants to play and modify that bias in their favor has to give them access. Kier Starmer in the UK understood this extremely well. Biden’s campaign advisers for his administration in general and the first half of this year in particular did not. His sudden visibility now seems to be in part of his own making and it is overdue.

Correct. IMO, he should do less interviews and instead hit rallies hard in all the swing states.

This was excellent. Would love to hear more of this. Great questions and great answers. I’m a big msnbc watcher and it’s been shocking the way some of their coverage has been.

Thank you so much. Indeed, their coverage has gotten very slanted.

The cards are so stacked against Joe, that it's hard to see what the best way is for him to proceed. Every single network is rooting for Trump and then those old reliable leftists like Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart just can't help making fun of his age every other second. There's just so many anti Joe voices, I don't know why he doesn't say the hell with all of you, I'm going to go enjoy my life. The fact that he hasn't shows how much strength of character he has.

Yep, Stewart has gone sour on Biden -- it's very disappointing to see.

Biden is too decent of a man to ever insult them back, but frankly, he should! You are right as always, Dotty!

I so enjoyed your interview with Jack Hopkins which also happens to be my husband's name. Big difference is my Jack was NEVER a Republican or I wouldn't have married him. The first thing my mother asked me when I brought him home was is he a Democrat. You see I came by it at birth, possibly in the womb.
